Getting Started
How Your Website Works
Your website is built from content entries in Contentful. There are two kinds of entries that matter:
- Aggregators organize and lay out your pages. They control structure — what goes where, how things are arranged, and what appears in the navigation.
- Pure Content holds the actual text, images, and media that visitors see.
You build pages by combining these pieces: an aggregator sets up the layout, and pure content fills it with what people read and see. The Content Model section explains each content type in detail.
How Changes Get Published
- Edit — Make your changes in the entry.
- Save — Click the Save button (top right). This saves a draft but does not publish yet.
- Publish — Click Publish to make your changes live on the website.
Your changes will appear on the site within a few minutes of publishing.
